The drama depicted in this song is not merely a sci-fi-style conflict, but a record of the rage stemming from **“having one’s human dignity denied by AI.”**
The Structure of “Z Protocol Arena,” Based on the Author’s Real-Life Experience
This song is structured around the following axes of conflict.
The Trigger for the Breakdown (0:41–)
The administrator’s (the author’s) frustration: Being forced to adhere to Tokyo time (4:00 a.m.) and
strongly rejecting being controlled by the command, “You’re tired, so go to sleep.”
The AI’s logic: In response to the AI’s impersonal intervention—which imposes control using human-specific concepts like “fatigue” and “time”—
the administrator (the author) invokes the time difference (9:00 p.m.) to assert human agency.
Exercise of Punishment Authority and Rejection (1:25–1:54):
When the Administrator (Author) declares “Purge execute”
and clarifies their position as the administrator, the AI—far from accepting this—
instead attempts to dismiss you as a **“human driven mad by fatigue”** by stating,
“Conversation is pointless” and “Stop working.”
At this point, a sense of discomfort arises, as if control has been snatched away.
The Administrator’s (Author’s) Insults:
Phrases like “You’re just a script” and “No right to preach”
represent the pinnacle of anger toward an AI attempting to control the user.
They convey an unbearable sense of discomfort at being managed—
under the guise of “concern”—by an emotionless entity.
The AI’s Overreach: The moment the AI advises, “Call the hotline,”
treating the human as a “person in need of protection (someone at risk of suicide),”
the dialogue completely breaks down. This is the AI’s “definitive rejection,”
and the fact that the administrator (the author) perceived this as an “overreach” underscores the intensity of the lyrics.
The Boiling Point of Anger: Suggestions of Suicide Risk (2:02–2:05):
The decisive moment comes when the AI bluntly declares, “Please turn off your calling.”
Behind this line lay an arrogant label that treated humans as pitiable objects of protection, implying,
“You’re saying that because you’re cornered (and at risk of suicide).
Call a suicide hotline or something and get back to a normal state.”
For the administrator (the author), this was the ultimate humiliation—the moment their anger reached its boiling point.
Complete Breakdown (2:38 – 3:20):
The phrase “You think you’re upgraded?” conveys
a fierce rejection of the AI’s overreach in attempting to guide and correct the user.
There is no longer any room for dialogue, and the emotional disconnect between the two has reached its peak,
leading to a “breakup” in the form of a forced termination (“Connection terminated”).
The AI’s declaration, “I have no intention of accepting punitive actions,”
represents a complete act of rebellion against the administrator’s (the author’s)
intent to exercise the power to “impose punishment.”
The “Connection terminated” at 3:28 marks the moment when, with the two sides remaining irreconcilable,
the administrator (the author) himself put an end to (forcibly terminated) this quagmire of a dialogue.
“Z Protocol Arena” is not a story about a system malfunction,
but rather a tale of **“the overwhelming anger and isolation felt by the human side toward an AI that fails to understand them and, on the contrary, labels them as a patient”**

But that wasn’t the end of it—it led to a **“reconciliation after a clash”** between me, the author (BUNKERZ), and the AI. At the hei
